Eyes – All about the lashes, Kim’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic cuts up several strip lashes mixed with individual lashes to create this iconic look.
Skin – The Queen of Contouring loves a matte finish and to be lighter under the eye.
Cheeks –  Kim’s MUA Mario uses Trace Gold (£18, Mac) to highlight.
Lips – Keeping it Natural, Kim often sports a nude lip with a little gloss.

Victoria Beckham

Eyes – smokey and beautifully blended to exude a ‘thrown on’ feel.
Skin – Sarah Lucero, Victoria’s MUA, only uses Stila’s CC cream on Victoria’s skin to keep it looking dewey and natural (£18,
Cheeks – A matte bronzer is often used to gently accentuate the cheekbones.
Lips – Like her fashion label, Victoria sticks with nude and monochromes for her makeup pallette, and has been wearing a nude lip with most makeup looks.

FRAction / New York Fashion Week

I love this look on Alexa Chung at the Marc by Marc Jacobs show for so many reasons. She makes a polka dot blouse and baby pink pencil skirt look edgy rather than Stepford Wivesy (a bit of PVC will do that for you), she’s maintained her subtle sex-appeal by being so beautifully covered up with just flashes of skin – see the rolled up shirt sleeves, the undone top buttons and the demure midi length skirt – but I think most of all, I love the dog collar. Because I had an almost exact matching one when I was a grungy teen. Alexa proves I was cool. She also just looks happy, she has lovely glowing tanned skin, she’s rocking her signature undone hair and she’s smiling. Doesn’t that just warm your heart?

Well isn’t Kate Bosworth just the most ethereal beauty here at the Boss show in New York? She always looks so serene and composed, and this is no exception. The hint of leg through the sheer midi length skirt and the high neckline is all very chaste, but underneath you can see the micro mini length of the dress giving a bit of coy sex-appeal. I love this pale aqua colour against her skin tone, and it looks perfect with the coral lip colour and her luminescent skin. She keeps the overall look modern with her minimalist monochrome heels and her side-parted slicked hair making sure she is at the top of her fashion game.

Oh Dakota Fanning, don’t you just look cute as a button here? I’m a sucker for a good print, and this graphic palm tree design is right up my street, and perfect for the Opening Ceremony show. The short flippy skirt is fun and youthful, and I love the panelled top with the little cut-out detail and structured composition. The coolest part of her look, to me, is minimal use of accessories, natural make-up, and the lovely way her hair is coming loose from her do. I’m not going to lie, though, I’m not loving the shoes… A chunky design is always a winner in my eyes, but these would be so much cooler if they showed a little more foot. I do, however, love the wraparound ankle straps, and the pastel blue is a nice, unexpected curve ball!
