Summer music festival season is in full swing now. Glastonbury, one of the biggest in the UK has just started yesterday, but there are plenty more coming all around the world, like Roskilde in Denmark, Wireless in the UK, Positivus in Latvia and many more.

Laura Comolli in Moschino
I’m loving fashion blogger Laura Comolli’s comfy get up. Slouchy trousers, oversized boyfriend jacket, and a large tee that looks totally bed time-ready! She’s really bought into Moschino’s Special Capsule Collection, accessorising her top with the matching bag and phone case, keeping the look kitsch and humorous. And what has the makings of a slick and sleek outfit is turned into something much more low key and relaxed by wearing everything oversized. My kinda gal!
Stella McCartney’s tailored wide-leg Lionel Trousers are the perfect leg-lengthening design, with the flattering high waist and wide leg cut. Styled with heels, they look uber chic, but dressed down with trainers, like Ms Comolli, will give them a more laid back slouchy effect. Pair them with this gorgeous crepe Zara blazer. Despite it’s longline boyfriend cut, it has a more tailored vibe than Comolli’s, making it a bit more flattering for a wider range of body shapes. This jacket will also take you right through to the summer months. Breezy white is the perfect cover-up for sundresses, and a lovely way to dress up a classic jeans and tee combo. At £69.99 this will be your best high street buy of the season.
Moschino’s adorable teddy bear capsule collection is available from their website, with a host of bear motif items, including jumpers, dresses and bags. Our streetstyler’s t-shirt and phone case are both online and up for grabs. If your budget for novelty fashion doesn’t stretch to Moschino heights, I love Etsy for it’s huge range of independent designers and quirky designs. Search for cartoon print T-shirts and you’ve got a good 12 pages of options (admittedly some are a bit questionable, but there are some gems on there!). I’m currently a bit in love with this furry little guy for my iPhone .
Milan Fashion Week, the home of the chic, and the cheeky. Home to tongue-in-cheek luxury brand Moschino, the street stylers are a bit partial to a novelty accessory or two, giving even some of the classiest looks a fun, quirky finish.
My new fave, Chiara Ferragni, is looking super cool in her skinny leather dungarees. Nope, I wouldn’t go there either, but she pulls it off effortlessly, and if you do want to try your hand at this look, Designers Remix at Selfridges do have this rather snazzy pair available. Doubling up her leathers, this camel jacket adds a sophisticated edge to the look, while her Moschino teddy print jumper and scarf add some humour to her ensemble. I love that she’s kept the same tonal colours throughout – from her sunnies to her booties – keeping the overall look chic rather than comedic.
These two fashionable ladies are rocking the check trend, showing us how to do it head to toe in style. Both looks are so graphic – Anna Fasano in an ombre effect with a cosy roll neck underneath, and Italian Grazia’s Gilda Ambrosio in a bold, even grid print. Zara have a great pair of checked cigarette pants for a simple, streamlined look. I would wear these with an oversized shirt in a contrasting sized check, switching up the proportions, or clash them with spots or stripes (such as this number from Zara) for a graphic mash-up. One might think they’d deliberately co-ordinated outfits, with their green jacket cover-ups, too! Fasano has gone chic in a rich jewel tone, accessorised with glossy monochrome loafers and bag, while Ambrosio taken the grunge route with a sloppy, oversized army jacket, creating two very different vibes.
